I finished making my sample honey bun pouf/ottoman, I was making it to see if it would work with my other products I am making for my honours project. At the moment I am not sure if I will use it for uni, but it looks great in my loungeroom, its great as a seat and a foot rest. If I was to make one for my honours project they would be made from the fabric I am designing and getting digitally printed

Images of my weaving for my rag rug. The colours used are black and white so it fits in with both of my colourways for my soft furnishings.
I was already working with stripes but after drawing multiple designs in black and white it really started looking like a barcode so the inspiration came from barcodes, which has now been carried through my work. Made with recycled materials

Staining…
Here are some images of my foot stool for my textiles project in the process of being stained. There were 3 coats applied all up. It was a stain with a white base in it so you can still see the grain but can get colour.
Quite pleased with the results
